K&P CPAs SMS Terms

1) Program Description

The K&P CPAs SMS program provides one-to-one, service-related text messages between clients and their assigned K&P CPAs professional. Typical messages include scheduling, document requests, deadline reminders, and engagement updates for accounting, assurance, advisory, valuation, and tax services. No marketing or promotional campaigns are sent through this program.

2) Consent and Enrollment

By providing your mobile number to K&P CPAs and replying YES (or texting START), you consent to receive service-related SMS messages at that number. You represent that you are the account holder or authorized user of the number you provide.

3) Message Frequency and Costs

Message frequency varies based on engagement activity. Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

4) Opt-Out and Help

To stop receiving messages, reply STOP to any message. After you send STOP, we will send a one-time confirmation text. No additional messages will be sent from that number unless you reactivate. To resume, reply START. For assistance, reply HELP or contact us at info@kpcpa.ca

5) Links

We include links only to our own websites and client portal. We do not use public URL shorteners.

6) Appropriate Use and Security

SMS is not a secure channel for sensitive information. Do not send personal identification numbers, credit card details, banking credentials, or other confidential documents by text. We will direct you to our secure client portal for document exchange.

7) Privacy and Data Use

K&P CPAs does not sell or share your mobile opt‑in data or consent with third parties for their marketing or promotional purposes. We use your mobile number solely to deliver service-related messages about your engagement. We may disclose your number to service providers acting as our processors to send messages and maintain delivery and consent records. For more, see our Privacy Policy.

8) Data Retention

We retain messaging and consent records as required by law and our records management policies.

9) Eligibility

The program is intended for clients and authorized client representatives who are of the age of majority in their jurisdiction. The program is not for emergencies.

10) Changes to These Terms

We may update these SMS Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page and become effective when posted.
